Coach Antonio L. Moore is a “homeboy” of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He is the son of Mrs. Irene White and the late William E. White. He is married to Mrs. Shenita B. Moore. They have three children: Allan, Shamira and Laveisha. He has one daughter-in-law, Kierra, one son-in-law Brian and one grandson, Kaylan.

Coach Moore attended Elizabeth City State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice/Minor in History. He also earned a master’s degree in Higher Education. During his time at ECSU he played football and held the position of linebacker. During his time there, 1994-1995 he was the defensive captain, 1994 honorable mention All-Conference, 1995 All-Conference linebacker, 1994 (6) sacks in a game against Virginia State (ECSU record), and 1995, most consistent defensive player award.

               4 years coaching as Junior Varsity Head Football Coach for Northeastern High School

               4 years as Assistant Varsity Football Coach for Northeastern High School

               20 years as Head Varsity Football Coach

             August 1995 – 1996   Played Semi-Pro Football for the New Hampshire Wolfpack

             August 1996 – 1999 Middle School Head Football Coach

             August 1999 – Present Northeastern High School – Elizabeth City, Northeastern High     School Football Coach

               Taught fundamentals of not only football, but cultivated values associated with fair play, good gamesmanship and

                pushing past obstacles

               Prepared and conducted training sessions, ensuring all aspects met NCHSAA, college and conference regulations

               Worked with Head Coach scouting within school, interviewing and cultivating talent

               Led 88 student athletes to colleges on athletic scholarships or grant and aids in 14 years

               Steered numerous Eastern North Carolina Recruiting Football Camps

               Ensured players-maintained B+ average, and getting them tutoring, mentoring and counseling when necessary

               and monitor academic progress weekly

               Prepared and managed team budget alongside appropriate Administrative Staff

               Has attended NCAA rules sessions and been NCAA Certified on rules

               Led Northeastern High School Football Team to 4 State Championship appearances

                (2010, 2018, 2019,2024)

               6 Regional Finals appearances    

               Led Northeastern High School Football Team to 16 Conference Championships

               Named NCC Coach of the Year 15 out of 20 years

               Steered 16 straight years of 10 plus win seasons and 18 out of 20 overall

               Named 2018 and 2019 Shrine Bowl Staff on North Carolina

               2019 Head Youth Shrine Bowl Coach

               NHS All-Time Winningest Coach 225-41

               2021 Head Carolina Bowl Coach

               "Antonio Moore Day" was awarded annually October 16th, proclaimed by the Elizabeth City Mayor

               Founder of the greatest High School All-Star Game in the State of North Carolina the    "919/252 All-Star

               Showcase Game".
