Final Stats

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University Lady Viking volleyball team improved to 17-8 overall with a three game sweep of Lincoln (PA) University (30-11, 30-22, 30-18) in non-conference volleyball action Wednesday night at the RL Vaughan Center.

Freshman Samarri Griffin posted a season best 9 kills along with 2 service aces and 5 digs in the victory. Teammates Christina Hager and Stacie West each chipped in with 9 kills apiece as ECSU remains undefeated on their home floor in 2007.

The undermanned Lady Lions (6-25) amassed a negative hitting percentage on the night -.067 (18 kills vs. 24 errors) and committed 13 receiving errors. Jordean Matthews led the way for Lincoln with 7 kills in the loss.
