Jayden Beloti named CIAA Men's Basketball 2021-22 Rookie of the Year.
Beloti has been awarded CIAA Rookie of the Week five times throughout the course of the season.
The Freshman guard leads the Vikings in scoring and is ranked at #15 in the CIAA. He averaged 12.6 points per game playing 26.8 mins per game.
Beloti recorded a personal season-high of 19 points at Virginia Union. He also tallied six assists and six blocks against Lincoln.
"This year has been a learning experience; especially being put into a role that I wasn't planning on." said Belotti. Playing showed me a lot about myself as a player. It should me that if I just keep my head up, play my game, and take in all the information coach gives me, good things will happen for me.

The Vikings will play in the opening round as the seventh seed facing 10
th seeded Bowie State.
