ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. -- The Elizabeth City State University men's basketball team earned a hard-fought 54–50 CIAA victory over Lincoln (Pa.) on Feb. 18 at the R.L. Vaughan Center.
Lincoln held a 27–22 advantage at halftime, but the Vikings responded in the second half, outscoring the Lions 32–23 to secure the comeback win. The game featured several momentum swings with five lead changes and six ties before ECSU pulled ahead late.
Jaquantae Harris led the Vikings with a game-high 21 points while adding seven rebounds and three steals. Donovan Flamer contributed seven points and a team-high eight rebounds, while CJ McCord added seven points off the bench.
Joseph Thompson and Jawan Browder each chipped in five points, helping the Vikings maintain balance offensively.
Elizabeth City State controlled the glass with a 34–36 rebounding battle and capitalized on second-chance opportunities, scoring 16 second-chance points. The Vikings also recorded 13 fast-break points in the win.
Lincoln was led by Ronald Bridges Jr. with 12 points, while Amadou Fall added 11 points and six rebounds.
With the victory, Elizabeth City State improved to 4–18 overall and 3–13 in CIAA play.
