Shareka McNeill tied her career high with 36 points as the Lady Panthers downed Lincoln University of Pennsylvania 81-56 on Saturday, February 16, in Lincoln University, Pa. McNeill hit a season-high seven three-pointers as VUU notched its 22nd win of the season, it's 14
th out of its last 15 games and can claim a Northern Division championship with a win over ECSU. These two teams last faced each other back on January 30
th as the Panthers took a 74-58 win over the Vikings inside of the R.L. Vaughan Center.

On the men's side, Virginia Union University's Will Jenkins recorded his 12th double-double of the season by scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds as VUU defeated Lincoln University of Pennsylvania 85-64 on Saturday, February 16, in Lincoln University, Pa. VUU'sÂ
Terrell Leach led the Panthers in scoring with 28 points whileÂ
Eric Bowles added 15 points. In their last meeting, the Vikings defeated Virginia Union, 60-57, in Elizabeth City on January 30
th.

Asia Deal scored a team high 16 points as the Elizabeth City State University basketball team dropped their Northern Division contest to Virginia State on Saturday inside of the VSU Multipurpose Center. The Vikings have dropped five straight contests and are looking to get back on the right side of the ledger against the 13
th ranked Panthers of Virginia Union.

The Elizabeth City State University men's basketball team led by as many as 17 in the second half but couldn't hang on and drop a 78-73 decision to Virginia State inside the VSU Multipurpose Center on Saturday afternoon. The Vikings have had a tough string of luck recently as they have dropped three of their last five but have dropped them by a combined eight points.
