LINCOLN, PA- Elizabeth City State University played Senior Night spoiler on Wednesday as the Vikings upended Lincoln University 69-65 at Manuel Rivero Hall.

DeCarlos Anderson sank two free throws with 10 seconds remaining to give the Vikings a four point edge. On the Lions' ensuing possession, a turnover by Quaman Burton led to a steal and layup by James Theus with 4 ticks left to seal the win for the Vikings.

Vernon Young finished the game with a dunk for the final point spread. Burton led all scorers with a game high 26 points for the Lions who slip to 8-16 overall, 6-7 in conference play and 3-4 in the Northern Division.

Theus finished with 17 big points off the bench for the Vikings while Anderson went for a team high 18 points. Neither team led by more than 8 points in the contest; ECSU's largest lead came with 3:40 left in the game after a jumper by Miykael Faulcon made the score 63-55.

Lincoln led by 4, 40-36, at the 15:50 mark of the second half. Faulcon finished the game with 12 points for the Vikings.

ECSU (9-11, CIAA 6-7) will return to action on Saturday against Virginia State University. Game time is scheduled for 4pm at the RL Vaughan Center.
