ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State/Virginia Union basketball doubleheader has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 4th in Richmond, VA.

The games, originally slated for tomorrow at Barco-Stevens Hall on the VUU campus, had to be moved due to the Winter Storm that will affect most of the region today through Wednesday afternoon. The Richmond, Virginia area may accumulate 1-2 inches of snow by Tuesday night while the Northeastern, NC area that includes Elizabeth City may be hit with as much as 10-12 inches over that same time frame.

It has been estimated that the snow fall in Pasquotank County will not cease until sometime Wednesday afternoon which would make for hazardous travel conditions to Richmond for the ECSU basketball teams.

ECSU basketball is scheduled to take the court again on Saturday, February 1 for Winter Homecoming versus Bowie State University. Game times are 3pm for the women followed by the men at 5pm.
