Final Stats

LINCOLN, PA- The Elizabeth City State University Vikings held on for a 61-59 road win over Lincoln University Saturday night at Manuel Rivero Hall.

With the win ECSU picks up their first division win of the season and improves to 5-1 in games decided by two points.

With 10 seconds remaining Rondy Tucker sank two free throws to break a 59-59 tie. The Lions, fresh out of time of timeouts, were forced to drive the length of the court for overtime or a game winning shot. Lincoln's Denzel Mooney got a clean look at a three pointer from the right side of the floor but the balled rimmed out as time expired. The loss drops the Lions to 1-13, 0-7 in the CIAA.

Mooney was the Lions' high man with 15 points . Paul Goldsmith led all scorers with a season high 17 points.
