ECSU VIKINGS CRUISE PAST FISK UNIVERSITY 89-50

GARY, IN- Trent Bivens led all scorers with a game high 19 points as the Elizabeth City State University Vikings topped Fisk University 89-50 at the 3rd Annual Lake Shore Classic at the Genesis Convention Center.

Defensively ECSU held their opponents at bay forcing a season high 23 turnovers while allowing season low 50 points in the game. Additionally the Vikings' size proved to be too much for the Bulldogs (3-6) as ECSU held a commanding rebounding 52-30 edge.

The Vikings never trailed in the game and its largest margin was the final point spread.

Jaron Moore scored 14 points off the bench of the Vikings and Paul Goldsmith chipped in with 10 points.
