Elizabeth City, NC -- Elizabeth City State University Women's Basketball (6-7, 3-2 CIAA) secured a thrilling 92-85 victory over Livingstone College in the second game of their three-game home stretch at the R.L. Vaughan Center. The Vikings delivered an exceptional offensive performance, with five players reaching double-digit scoring in a well-balanced team effort.
Londen Coleman led the charge with an outstanding double-double, tallying 16 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Isa Banks followed closely with 13 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds, while Vannessa Schwarzmann contributed 12 points and 4 assists. Ja'yah King-Johnson added 11 points and 7 rebounds, and Kayiona Willis rounded out the top scorers with 10 points and 4 assists.
ECSU showcased their offensive efficiency, shooting an impressive 54.1% from the field and 42.1% from beyond the arc. The Vikings also dominated the glass, winning the rebound battle 39-29, and forced 14 turnovers to maintain control of the game.
