ECSU Bowling Opens up at the Virginia Union Invitational

MIDLOTHIAN, VA- Elizabeth City State bowling team opened up their season at the Virginia Union Invitational Bowling Tournament this past weekend in Midlothian, VA. The Vikings placed 7th overall out of 8 teams.

The Vikings top performer on the weekend was Amelia Harris with a total of 650. This placed her 24th overall out of 48 bowlers. Harris led a high for the Vikings of 172 in game three.

Trinity Evans followed up placing 25th overall. Evans bowled 625 overall for an average of 125 a game.

Placing 30th overall was newcomer Jasmine Burks who had a single-game high of 132 in game two, bowling a 537 overall.

The Vikings will return to action this weekend November 10-12 at the CIAA Event I hosted by Bowie State.
