MECHANICSVILLE, VA. – The Elizabeth City State Bowling team saw their 2024-25 season come to a close at the CIAA Bowling Championship on Saturday after two close matches in bracket play.

INSIDE THE LANES
Amelia Harris led the Vikings with a 150.8 average after a consistent outing and the 15th highest average in the individual portion of the tournament.
Titana Miller and Madison Jones tallied a 146.3 and 142.0 average respectively. Miller bowled a team-high 172 against Fayetteville State to finish 17th overall in individual averages.
Kiannah Moore collected a team-high 172 against Shaw to roll a 129.8 average. Jasmine Burks finished up the scoring with a 107.5 average.
In the Baker format match-up against Virginia Union, the Lady Vikings started strong with a 49-pin lead before the Panthers finished the final two games with a 67-pin advantage to take the victory.
Against Virginia State, the Trojans jumped out to an early advantage, but the second and fifth game victories were not enough to complete the comeback.
