ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) released the seedings for the 2025 CIAA Softball Championships held in Orangeburg, S.C. starting on May 1.

Elizabeth City State finished with a 7-24 overall record and a 5-10 mark in CIAA.  The Vikings posted a 3-7 record in CIAA Northern Division action holding the tiebreakers against Virginia Union and Bluefield State for the fourth-seed in the North.

The Lady Vikings will open up the CIAA Championship against Southern Division Champion, Claflin, on Thursday, May 1 at 12pm at the Orangeburg Recreation Park.  Winner's bracket games follow at 4pm, while the elimination bracket starts at 2pm.

Admission into the Orangeburg Recreation Park (224 Magnolia Village Parkway, Orangeburg, SC 29118) is free for those that can attend.  Live Stats and Live Video will be available for those unable to attend.
