ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) released the Weekly Softball Honors on Tuesday for Week 8.

Earning CIAA Rookie of the Week honors was Eboni Bailey from the Lady Vikings.  Bailey would help ECSU to a sweep of Shaw over the weekend going 6-9 at the plate.  The Newport News, Va. native posted a double and a RBI to go with five runs scored.

Bailey marks the second weekly honor for Elizabeth City State this season.
