Victory for the Lady Vikings as they Head into Division Play

Box Score ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The women's basketball team of Elizabeth City State (10-7, 3-5 CIAA) won their second meeting of the season against Edward Waters (4-13, 2-7 SIAC) with a final score of 79-65 on Wednesday evening at the R.L. Vaughan Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Alanis Hill had yet another outstanding performance. She scored 22 points and drew several fouls, which sent her to the free-throw line where she made 11 out of 13 shots. Hill has consistently proven that once she starts scoring, she won't be stopped.

Rashauna Grant also had a strong performance, scoring 16 points and collecting four rebounds. She also made three blocks on the defensive side of the ball.

Dy'jhanik Armfield made her presence felt in the game, scoring 14 points and grabbing two rebounds for the Vikings.

The Lady Vikings will play their next game on Saturday, January 20. They will take on Bluefield State in a doubleheader at the R.L. Vaughan Center. The game will start at 2 pm.
