Elizabeth City, N.C.- Elizabeth City State took on Virginia Union in a doubleheader on the tennis courts at Northeastern Park Wednesday afternoon.

The Panthers would defeat the Vikings to a score of 0-4 and 1-4. The Vikings now move to an overall record of (0-9) on the season.

Performance of the day goes to Marley Renner, who defeated her opponent Jade Sawyer of Virginia Union in singles, displaying a variety of pretty volleys and powerful forehands. This performance ended with a score of 8-4.

The Vikings return to the courts to take on the Trojans of Virginia State on April 13, 2023, at 3 PM at Northeastern Park in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
