Women's Basketball ECSU Sports Information

Third Annual Community and Education Day featuring the Vikings versus the Mustangs

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State Women's basketball team will return to the Vaughan Center for their home opener against cross-town institution Mid-Atlantic Christian for Community and Education Day. This will make the third annual event. Tipoff is at 11 AM.

Game Notes
  • Coach Tynesha Lewis is entering her third season as the head coach of the Lady Vikings
  • Alanis Hil enters the game averaging 15.7 points per game
  • The Vikings have seven newcomers to the team
  • Aniyah Vanhook averaging 4.8 rebounds per game this season
  • Mid-Atlantic Christian is 0-3 versus the Lady Vikings 



Before the game, the students will embark on modified campus tour of the Wellness Center, the STEM Complex, the Ridley Student Center, the Commuter Center Bowling Alley, and the R.L. Vaughan Center at 10 a.m. The student will enjoy information sessions about the importance of education and attending school after middle and high school. In the main hallway, campus volunteers will showcase the wide variety of opportunities on campus followed by entertainment with performances by the ECSU Sound of Class Band and the ECSU D'Lytes cheerleading team.
