The Vikings improve to a 14-5 overall record, 6-4 in the CIAA.

ECSU shot 40.4 percent (21 of 52) from the field, 23.5 percent (4 of 17) from behind the arc, and 86.4 percent (19 of 22) at the line.

VSU shot 35.2 percent from the field (19 of 54), 40 percent (4 of 10) from behind the arc and went 73.9 percent (17 of 23) at the line.

Sophomore guard
NyAsia Blango (Havelock, NC) fueled the Vikings offense with 14 points while junior forward
Sireann Pitts (Raleigh, NC) followed up with 12 points.
Tirenique Broadwater led the team in rebounds totaling eight boards.

Natalia Leaks led the Trojans in scoring with 16 points and added 6 rebounds.

The Vikings will be back in action, taking on Shaw University at home on Saturday, February 5th. Tip-off is slated for 2 PM.
