Senior forward Sireann Pitts dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. The Vikings improve to 7-3 and earn their first victory in conference play (1-1 CIAA). The Vikings were able to get out to an early lead, scoring the first eight points of the game on a floating jumper by Pitts and a three-pointer by junior guard NyAsia Blango. In the second half, the Lady Falcons were able to cut into the lead with a series of scores and a three-pointer by senior guard Taniyah Green but Pitts answered back with another jumper to give her team a 10-3 gap in the final minutes of the second half. The Vikings will continue their road game assault as they seek their second conference victory at Fayetteville State on December 19. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.
