Box Score ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Vikings dominated the Builders of the Newport News Apprentice School 84-25 Thursday night.

ECSU shot 45.6 percent (36 of 79) from the field, 31.8 percent (7 of 22) from behind the arc, and 38.5 percent (5 of 13) at the line.
Newport News Apprentice School shot 14.3 percent from the field (7 of 49), made 11.1 percent (2 of 18) from three, and went 60 percent (9 of 15) at the line.
The Vikings were offensively led by sophomore guard
Naomi Lockamy (Wake Forest, NC), with 14 points, going 6-7 from the field and 2-2 from the arc. Freshman forward Rishona Washington (Blackville, SC) gave the Vikings a spark as well with a matching 14 points and eight rebounds.
Senior guard
Iya Holley-Reid (Norfolk, VA) led the Vikings in rebounds with 10 rebounds
Brittney Jones led the Newport News Apprentice School with 10 points on the night.
The Vikings played all gas no brakes the entire night, holding the Builders to less than 10 points every quarter. ECSU put the nail in the coffin outscoring the Builders 27-3 in the fourth quarter.
The Vikings will be back in action on Saturday, December 11th
, at Wilmington University. Tip-off is slated for 4 PM.
