Game 2: Cheyan Brasseur started the scoring off for ECSU as the sophomore laced a double to right field in the second inning that scored D'Aysa Wilson from second base. Shaw answered with a run of their own in both the bottom of the second and third to take a 2-1 lead.
ECSU would put their first crooked number on the board in the top of the fifth as the Vikings scored three off of a RBI single from
Stephanie Komives and RBI doubles to left field biy
Alyssa Griffin and Sarah Phillips.
Shaw trimmed their deficit down to 4-3 with a RBI ground out by Thompson in the bottom of the sixth.
ECSU put some distance between themselves and the Bears by scoring five in the top half of the seventh off of RBI hits from

Shea Vaccaro.
Shaw tacked on one additional run in the bottom of the seventh off of a Alex Masnica single to short.

Sara Phillips, Cheyan Brasseur and
Alexis Blackwell all registered multiple hits in the winning effort.
Game 3: Both ECSU and St. Augustine's would battle to a scoreless tie through five innings before ECSU was able to score two in the top half of the sixth inning. ECSU continued to shut down the Falcons until the bottom of the seventh when the Falcons scratched across two runs to tie the contest and send it into extra innings.
From that point, it was all Vikings as ECSU scored seven runs in the top of the eighth. St. Augustine's countered with a run of their own in the bottom of the frame but it wasn't enough.
