ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – The Elizabeth City State University softball and men's golf team will both be competing in competitions both in Elizabeth City and on the road this upcoming week.
 
QUICK LOOK BACK
 
The softball team dropped a doubleheader to Pitt Community College on Saturday by a 10-1 and 8-0 score. The Vikings were led offensively by Alyssa Griffin who finished the doubleheader going 2-for-4 with two doubles.
 
LOOK AHEAD
 
ECSU softball will host Barton on Wednesday at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Southpark Softball Complex in Elizabeth City. The Vikings will also host the CIAA Round Up at the Southpark Softball Complex this weekend. Virginia Union, Bowie State, Johnson C. Smith, Lincoln, Chowan, Virginia State, Fayetteville State, Shaw, St. Augustine's and Claflin are all scheduled to compete. The weekend will be packed full of softball contests, 30 in all, over the three-day round up. Below is ECSU's schedule for the weekend:

The men's golf team will begin their spring schedule by making the trip down Interstate 95 to Fayetteville to face off against CIAA schools in the CIAA Mid-Major Tournament.
