RICHMOND, VA- Winston-Salem State captured a 5-0 shortened victory over Elizabeth City State University Saturday afternoon at the CIAA Tennis Roundup.

To save time due to pending inclement weather, the two teams bypassed doubles play and went straight to singles matches.

The Rams swept through singles play with Gabrielle Lindsay, Alexus Morgan and Aja Grant grabbing 8-0 singles victories over Jocelyn Lewis, Brianna Henderson and Tatiana Cuffie, respectively.

WSSU took the final two single victories by default to earn the 5-0 victory.
