BOWIE, MD- The Elizabeth City State tennis team fell in back to back matches to Bowie State University 8-0, 8-0 Tuesday afternoon.
Five on the Lady Bulldogs' six singles players breezed to 8-0 straight set victories in both matches. Bowie State's Selena Slaughter won by default at No. 6 singles. The Lady Bulldogs also claimed straight set victories in both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles and took the No.3 competition by default.
Bowie State improves to 6-5 in both overall and CIAA play while the Lady Vikings slip to 0-6 (CIAA 0-6) on the year.
ECSU will return to action tomorrow versus Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, NC. The singles matches are set to begin at 1pm.
