HAMPTON, VA- For the second time in as many weeks Elizabeth City State University's Jadda Jefferies has been named CIAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week as released by the CIAA Office Tuesday morning.

This marks the third time this season the Lady Viking senior has received the weekly honor as the league's top player.

Last week Jefferies played every minute of the Lady Vikings' two games netting double figures in both outings. She matched her career high (30 points) including the tying and go ahead baskets in ECSU's 62-60 division opener on the road at Chowan University. The win over the Hawks was the first road victory for ECSU this season.

A native of Burlington, NC, Jefferies is tied for first in the CIAA in scoring and leads the conference in minutes played.

ECSU will take on The Lincoln University tonight in Lincoln, PA. Game time is scheduled for 5:30pm.
