HAMPTON, VA- Elizabeth City State University's Jadda Jefferies has been named the CIAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

This is the second time this season that Jefferies, who ranks second in the CIAA in scoring (21.7ppg), has received the weekly honor. Over three games last week the Burlington, NC native averaged 21.0 points per game including two 20+ point outings vs. Livingstone (22) and Johnson C. Smith (24). She scored 13, dished out 5 assists and had 5 steals in ECSU's first CIAA win of the season over Fayetteville State on January 5th.

ECSU (6-9, CIAA 1-5) will return to action on January 17th at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, NC.
