HAMPTON, VA- Two members of the Elizabeth City State University Lady Viking basketball team have been named to the 2013 Women's All-CIAA Team as released by the Conference office Thursday afternoon.

Stephanie Harper and Shatara Jackson, both seniors for the ECSU Lady Vikings, were voted to the All-CIAA team by the Women's basketball coaches association.

This is the second straight All-CIAA selection for Harper while Jackson lands on the All-Conference team for the first time.

This season Harper averaged 11.8 points per game and led the Lady Vikings in rebounding at 7.9 per outing. In the CIAA she ranks fourth in rebounding and leads the league in field goal percentage, shooting 56% from the field. Her scoring average is 9th best in the CIAA.

Shatara Jackson gets her first All-CIAA nod in her third season in a Lady Viking uniform. After an injury shortened junior campaign, Jackson returned this year to lead ECSU in scoring, assists, steals, blocked shots and free throw percentage. Her steal average is good for 14th in all of NCAA Division II, good for 3rd in the CIAA.

The All-CIAA teams will be honored at next week's CIAA Tournament Tip Off luncheon on Monday in Charlotte, NC.
