Final Stats

LAWRENCEVILLE, VA-Tiffany Gadsden tallied her first double-double of the season as the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings topped Saint Paul's College 58-50 Thursday evening at Brunswick County High School.

Gadsden scored 13 points and pulled down a season best 10 rebounds while teammate Stephanie Harper netted a game high 16 points.

ECSU led the entire contest and by as many as 16 with 7:23 remaining. Neither team had a good night offensively; Saint Paul's shot only 34% from the floor while ECSU went 33% from the field on 16-48 shooting.

The Lady Vikings shot 23-38 from the free throw line to 11-15 for the Lady Tigers (2-16). Deaudra Brown scored a team high 15 points while Alisha Hardy had 12 points and 16 boards.

ECSU (14-7, CIAA 7-4) will host Virginia Union on Saturday at the RL Vaughan Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00pm. For more information on ECSU Athletics, visit www.ecsuvikings.com.
