ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University Lady Vikings closed their 2010-11 home slate in dominating fashion with a 91-47 win over Saint Paul's College Monday evening at the RL Vaughan Center.

ECSU has won four straight and seven of their last eight games. They will close out the regular season against Virginia Union on Wednesday in Richmond, VA.

In the first half, Shatara Jackson's layup as the 12:26 helped ECSU jump out to a 13-2 advantage. With 9:19 left before the break, a three-pointer by Shaquella Johnson pushed the score to double digits and the spread ballooned to a 48-19 halftime lead. Behind 11 first half points by Tiffany Gadsden, the Lady Vikings shot a scorching 59% from the field to just 4-22 (18%) for the Lady Tigers.

The Lady Vikings led by a minimum of 30 points the entire second half.

Every ECSU player that touched the court scored although in was three seniors who led the charge. Kenyatta Gill netted a game high 19 points in her final home game; Gadsden finished with a season high 18 while Johnson poured in 14 points.
