CHARLOTTE, NC- The Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings will open play at the 2010 CIAA Basketball Tournament against Virginia Union University on Tuesday at the Time Warner Arena.

The Lady Vikings (17-9) and Lady Panthers (7-18) will tip off at 5:00pm.

During the regular season the two teams split two meetings, each winning on their opponents' home floor. The Lady Panthers rallied from behind to defeat ECSU on February 1st in Elizabeth City, while the Lady Vikings took a 65-62 decision in Richmond on February 11th.

ECSU is the # 6 seed while VUU holds down the #11 spot.
