HAMPTON, VA- Elizabeth City State's Crystal Smith has been named to the 2010 CIAA Women's All-Rookie Team as announced Wednesday by the conference office.

The All-Rookie team is selected by the CIAA Sports Information Directors Association.

A native of Farmville, NC, Smith has started 11 of the last 12 games for ECSU and over that span the Lady Vikings have posted an 8-3 record. She scored a career high 18 points in ECSU's win over Virginia Union on February 11th and is currently the Lady Vikings' fifth leading scorer. She was once tabbed as the CIAA Rookie of the Week and has seen action in 23 games this season.

The 2010 All-Rookie Team will be formally recognized at the tip off luncheon next Tuesday in Charlotte, NC.
