Final Stats

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- Kenyatta Gill scored a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds as the Elizabeth City State University Lady Vikings topped the M.I. Express in preseason women's basketball action Wednesday night at the RL Vaughan Center.

A jumper by Jasmine Walker with 12:55 remaining in the first half pushed the lead to ten (15-5) and the M.I. Express would not see single digits for the duration of the game. Gill represented ECSU's only double figure scorer yet ECSU got good productivity from their bench outscoring their counterparts 26-14.

ECSU held a 39-18 advantage at the intermission and led by as many as 29 points in the contest.
