HAMPTON, VA- Elizabeth City State University junior forward Kenyatta Gill has been named CIAA Newcomer of the Week as released by the CIAA Office Monday morning.

This marks the third time this season the Mobile, AL native has won the Newcomer of the Week honor.

In two games last week, Gill averaged 11.5 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots. In the Lady Vikings' victory over nationally ranked Johnson C. Smith University she finished with a game high 15 points along with 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots.
