HAMPTON, VA- Elizabeth City State freshman guard Kearah Jefferys has been named CIAA Rookie of the Week as released by the CIAA Office Monday morning.

Jefferys, who hails from Wake Forest, NC, helped the Lady Vikings to a 2-1 record last week including a 63-58 road upset of Virginia State University Saturday night. Against Saint Augustine's on February 12th in Raleigh, she netted her 16th game in double figures with a 20-point outing against the Lady Falcons. In the CIAA she currently ranks 14thin scoring (10.9 points), 8th in assists (2.9) and is second in free throw percentage (82.1%).
