ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Saint Augustine's College Lady Falcons rode a 26 point first half lead to a 72-58 victory over Elizabeth City State University Tuesday evening at the RL Vaughan Center.
ECSU shot a dismal 4-30 (13.3%) from the field in the first half of play and were down what proved to be an insurmountable deficit. Saint Augustine's bench outscored the ECSU reserves 31-9 for the game
The Lady Falcons (8-6, CIAA 4-4) placed four players in double figures with freshman Keyona Bryant leading with a team high 13 points. Joyce Freeman scored a game high 19 points while Kearah Jefferys chipped in with 16 points, her seventh double figure game this season.
