HAMPTON, VA- Senior All-American center Celeste Trahan has been honored as the CIAA's top women's basketball player for the seventh time this season.

Celeste posted double-doubles in two of three games last week to earn the 17th Player of the Week honor of her career. Her best game came in a 36 point (tied career high), 15 rebound performance against Shaw on February 2 in Raleigh, NC. She now has 81 career double-doubles and ranks first in NCAA Division II in both scoring and rebounding. She also scored 31 points on the road at Fayetteville State and scored her 2,000th career point against Bowie State as ECSU picked up their first divisional win of the year over the first place Lady Bulldogs.
