Final Stats

ELIZABETH CITY, NC- The Elizabeth City State University Lady Vikings defeated the Fayetteville State University Lady Broncos 101-75 Saturday night at the RL Vaughan Center.

The 101 points was the highest point total ever for a Lady Viking basketball team.

ECSU began the game on a 12-0 run and would never look back from that point on. The Lady Vikings led 50-33 at the half after going 45 % from the field. In the second half the Lady Broncos would not get much closer and the home team?s lead would balloon up to as much as 37 points in the waning seconds of the game. Celeste Trahan (17 points, 21 rebounds), Tanika Hudgins (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Tiffany Smith (14 points, 11 rebounds) all registered double-doubles. Deanna Price finished just two rebounds shy of a triple double with 14 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. For FSU, Tiffany Mitchell finished with a game high 22 points as the Lady Broncos fall to 7-9 overall, 2-3 in the CIAA.
