RICHMOND, VA. – The Elizabeth City State Golf team competed the CIAA Northern Division Tournament placing ninth amongst the field at the Lakeside Park Club posting their best team round of the season in the final round.

INSIDE THE SCORECARDS

Walter Bailey led the Vikings finishing in 32nd after an opening round 84 and finishing it off with a 76.  Bailey would wrap up the final nine holes at one-over carding two birdies.

Patrick Dail carded a 97 to start the tournament and would improve five strokes in the final round to card a 92.

Keaton Turrentine improved throughout the tournament as well with a 100 in the opening round and a 97 in the second round.

Jeremy Martin finished the tournament with a 102-108 while Benjamin Turner improved eight strokes after an opening round 116 to finish with a 108.

Elizabeth City State will wrap up the 2024-25 season at the CIAA Golf Championship held at Magnolia Green Golf Club in Leland, N.C. on April 14-15.
