ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - The Elizabeth City State Athletics Department has announced the 2024 football schedule. The Mighty Vikings will play their four home games at the historic Roebuck Stadium this Fall. 

To start their season the Vikings will open up their 2024 season on the road against Shaw at Durham County Memorial Stadium on Saturday, August 31.

For Appreciation Day, the Vikings will host former CIAA rival Chowan on September 7. Vikings Football will hit the road for week three and head to Greenwood, South Carolina to face the Flying Fleet of Erskine College. 

Homecoming will feature the Lions of Lincoln (PA) on October 26, and the Vikings will welcome Bowie State to Roebuck Stadium the following weekend for Senior Day. 

All home games are slated for a 1 p.m. kickoff. For the full schedule click here.

When playing away, the Vikings will face some cross-division opponents, including on September 21, against Fayetteville State University at Luther Nick Jeralds Stadium, and on October 5, against Livingstone College, in Salisbury, North Carolina.
