LINCOLN, PA- The Elizabeth City State football team (1-6, 0-5 CIAA) traveled to Lincoln, Pennsylvania to face the Lincoln Lions (3-3, 2-2 CIAA) for their homecoming. The Vikings would come up short to a score of 27-21.

The Vikings would jump out to an early 14-0 lead on two rushing touchdowns from Junior Quarterback Donoven Davenport to start the first quarter. The Lions would respond in the second quarter with a rushing touchdown of their own. The Vikings Code Blue defense would be led by Teonne Porter with 7 total tackles and a pass breakup. Jermain Smith would add 4 tackles and get an interception. 

Senior Runningback, Zechariah Adams-Duckson would be utilized heavily with the ground attack. Adams-Duckson, would generate 183 rushing yards on 27 carries.

Quinzel Lockhart, would have two receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown in the third quarter for the Vikings. The Vikings would come up short to a score of 27-21.

The Vikings will now go on the road to face off with Virginia State University, at Rogers Stadium, on October 21. Kickoff is at 2 PM.
