Elizabeth City, NC – The Vikings went undefeated in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the CIAA Round-Up defeating FSU, SAU, and LC. The first match of the weekend for the Lady Vikings ended in a four-set victory over reining CIAA Champs Fayetteville State University (25-20, 19-25, 25-17, 25-14).
The Vikings improved their win streak to eleven games, with a 14-2 overall record, 5-0 CIAA.
The Vikings were led by freshman
Jada Rouse (Rock Hill, SC) with 16 kills followed by junior Aasia McNeil (Statesville, NC), with 11 kills. Freshman
Mariah Griffin trailed the pack with seven kills herself. Junior
Elizabeth Kellum (Jacksonville, NC) ended the game with a total of 36 assists.
The Vikings continue to take the conference by storm, making a name for themselves as possible contenders for the CIAA women's volleyball championship title.
Game 2
The Vikings met St. Augustine's University to start Day 2 of round up action. Though the sets were close, the Vikings pulled out a three-set sweep, (25-20, 25-21, 26-24).

Jada Rouse (Rock Hill, SC) with 10 kills followed by junior Aasia McNeil (Statesville, NC), with eight kills, and junior
Elizabeth Kellum (Jacksonville, NC) followed closely behind with seven kills. Freshman libero
Naijya Leggett (Atlanta, GA) led the defense with 23 kills.
Game 3
The Vikings were able to remain unbeaten after their final game of the weekend ended in a three-set sweep against Livingstone College, (25-16, 25-12, 25-10).

Alexus Elliott (Dudley, NC), with six kills, and junior
Janine Ceasar (Baltimore, MD) added three kills. Junior
Elizabeth Kellum (Jacksonville, NC) ended the game with a total of 22 assists and freshman
Kennedy Jackson (Concord, NC) led the team with 15 digs.
A huge offensive performance to win the weekend topped the match for the Vikings. Hitting at 0.571, the Vikings were able to rack up on kills with limited errors, forcing the Blue Bears to hit -0.031.
