RALEIGH, NC- The Elizabeth City State University Vikings remained undefeated in conference play with a 49-0 shutout of the Saint Augustine's College Falcons Saturday afternoon at Broughton High School.
With the win, ECSU is off to their first 4-1 start since 1995. The tone for the game was set after the Falcons' first possession yielded a punt which was returned for a 77-yard touchdown by freshman Billy Wiggins, II. Then, a Falcon fumble deep in their own territory resulted in a 2-yard TD run by Brandon Fields with 9:45 remaining in the 1st quarter.
