Naja Ngongba joins the ECSU women's basketball team after three seasons at Mars Hill. During her career at Mars Hill, played 1,425 minutes over three seasons, scoring a total of 569 points for a 7.2 points-per-game average. She shot 43.7% from the field, 22.4% from three, and 56.7% from the free-throw line, while also contributing 383 total rebounds (4.85 per game), 25 assists, and 34 steals.

Naja enjoys traveling, going to the beach and spending time with family. She was a member of the U.S. Virgin Islands Women's National Basketball Team that won the gold medal at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games in San Salvador, El Salvador, defeating the Dominican Republic 76-72 in the final. This victory marked the first-ever CAC Games gold medal for the U.S. Virgin Islands in basketball for either men or women.
