How did you feel once you received the job offer from Coach Gray?

“I felt honored, to be honest with you. I wanted to further my career and to learn from one of the best in the game. Being able to learn from a coach that has developed hundreds of
young men in his 25 years of coaching. Is a blessing in itself and an opportunity that I will relish. I can not wait to get our guys on the floor to compete every day. We have a talented group that wants to win and win now. ECSU has a rich tradition here for the Men's basketball team and I look forward to winning a National Championship,” stated Mandeldove.

An Alum of the University of Connecticut where he was a 4 year letterman. Where he helped the Huskies to see postseason success and was part of the 2009 Final Four team. Mandeldove graduated from UCONN in Fall 2017 with a Bachelor of Science.
