HIGH SCHOOL:   Two-sport standout in football and track & field at Goldsboro HS… lettered twice in football, amassing 74 total tackles… as a senior starter, posted 49 solo stops and 14 assisted tackles in 12 games with five QB sacks, two fumbles caused and a fumble recovery… earned Goldsboro Defensive Player of the Week for efforts against C.B. Aycock (9/8/17) and Midway (11/3/17)… earned team’s most improved player award in football… twice named team field event MVP… heaved shot put a personal-best of 42 feet, 10 inches at Midway (5/2/18)… finished third in shot put competition at the Eastern Carolina 2A Championships… had a personal-best throw of 85 feet, 6 inches in the discus.

PERSONAL:  Member of the National Honor Society and was named a scholar-athlete at Goldsboro HS.
