Elizabeth City, NC - Elizabeth City State University Athletics is proud to recognize 41 Viking student-athletes who have been named recipients of the Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award. The annual honor recognizes NCAA Division II student-athletes who demonstrate a high level of academic success while competing in intercollegiate athletics.
To qualify for the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5, completed a minimum of two years of college-level coursework, and remained an active member of an intercollegiate athletics team during their final academic year. Among ECSU's honorees, 15 student-athletes representing six Viking athletic programs achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.
