CHARLOTTE, NC - The Elizabeth City State Vikings picked up some motivation, Monday morning when the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced the 2026 CIAA Volleyball Predicted Order of Finish. when the poll was announced, the Vikings were picked to finish 10th in the preseason. 

The Vikings will look to prove the prediction wrong when they head into the upcoming season. Last season, the Vikings finished the season ranked ninth in the conference and barely missing the 2025 CIAA Volleyball Championship Tournament. 

The Vikings will open the 2026 volleyball season on the road when they head to Norfolk, Virginia to take on the NCAA Division I Norfolk State Spartans on Friday, August 21st. For more information on Vikings volleyball, visit www.ECSUVikings.com.
