Elizabeth City, N.C. — Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) will celebrate a major step forward in campus revitalization with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated R.L. Vaughan Center Gymnasium on Tuesday, December 16, at 3:30 p.m. The event will take place inside the Vaughan Center, located at 1704 Weeksville Road in Elizabeth City.
The upgraded gymnasium marks the completion of Phase One of a three-phase renovation plan for the R.L. Vaughan Center, a central hub for athletics, student activities, and university events. Following the ceremony, guests will have the opportunity to tour the refreshed space and preview architectural renderings showcasing what's ahead in Phase Two and Phase Three of the project.
Members of the media are invited to attend and capture this milestone as ECSU continues to invest in enhanced facilities for its students, athletes, and campus community.
