Volleyball looks to bounce back in Charleston Tournament

CHARLESTON, WV | ECSU Volleyball looks to bounce back from an 0-3 start on the road in a four-team tournament round-up. The two-day meet will be hosted by the University of Charleston at the Wehrle Innovation Center in Charleston, WV. 

Charleston Tournament (Sept. 13-14)
 
Friday, Sept. 13 
vs. Barton College | 9 a.m.
vs. Converse University | 3 p.m. 
 
Saturday, Sept. 14
vs. Roberts Wesleyan University | 10 a.m. 

Last time out

The Vikings opened the season in a tournament hosted by Chowan where they went 0-3 falling to Newberry College (0-3), Lincoln Memorial (0-3) and, Chowan (1-3).

  • ECSU reached the CIAA championship match but fell short losing 3-1 to Shaw.
  • The Vikings finished the season with a 20-13 overall record and a 16-2 mark in CIAA play. Before facing Shaw in the title match, they were riding an eight-match winning streak.
