WINSTON-SALEM, NC | The ECSU volleyball team travels to Winston-Salem this weekend for the first CIAA Roundup. The Vikings enter the weekend as one of two undefeated teams in conference play. The Vikings are coming off two consecutive sweeps over Virginia Union and Bowie State.

Vikings By The Numbers

ECSU enters this weekend's matches with a (3-9, 2-0 CIAA) record after defeating Bowie State 3-0 (32-34, 25-27, 21-25) Monday night (9/30). Naijya Leggett led the team with 21 digs, Angel Bowden led with 14 assists, Leggett and Andrea Rose each had two aces, while Victoria White recorded the win this past Monday. The Vikings' leader through 12 matches is Jada Rouse, who has 83 kills and 16 aces, while Bowden is the team's leading passer, with 145 assists. Naijya Leggett owns 197 digs and Andrea Rose has 35 blocks.

Saturday's match-up will be the 6th meeting between the two programs since 2018, with the Vikings leading the series 3-2.

This match-up will be just the 17th time the two programs will meet since 2010, as the Vikings have an 8-11 record against the Rams.
